A pop-up by the Vistula
Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie in Warsaw is one of those places where crowds of walkers, cyclists and tourists pass by all day long. That is exactly where the Pantene pop-up was set up, and we took care of running the whole zone. We sent six hostesses to the event, making sure that something was always happening at the stand.
The photo booth as a way to stop passers-by
The photo booth was the heart of the event. Our hostesses approached people walking by, explained the rules and encouraged them to take a souvenir photo, in exchange for which participants received products from the brand. It sounds simple, but that first contact decides whether someone stops or walks past without a second look. That is why for street promotions we choose people who are open, cheerful and comfortable with hearing no.
Hostesses Warsaw – working at the city’s pace
Working at a pop-up is different from a trade fair or a gala. The flow of people is uneven, one moment there is a queue and the next it is empty, so the team has to react on the spot. Our hostesses kept the queue to the photo booth moving, kept the zone tidy and handed out products while answering visitors’ questions. Six people were enough to keep the stand running without a single break.
Summary
The Pantene pop-up showed that a well-matched team can turn an ordinary walk by the river into real contact with a brand. As a hostess agency, we have been running promotional campaigns in Warsaw and across Poland for more than two decades, from single stands to roll-outs in 20+ cities. If you are planning a similar event, we will gladly handle the staff.
